New 2018: Northern Galapagos tour 5 days

Galapagos tour Monday to Friday

2017 – 4 nights Northern Islands Galapagos, Monday to Friday.

Galapagos Santa Cruz Iguanas in the sea

Northern Islands Galapagos Itinerary

The expedition starts nearby the airport at Baltra bay, from where we travel to our first destination: the marvelous white beach of Las Bachas with its briny lagoons. These lagoons are just off the shoreline and are known feeding grounds for several species of wading birds, including stilts and flamingos. The following day we continue to visitor sites on Santiago Island. At Buccaneer Cove, visitors enjoy the unbelievable amount of sea lions, inter-tidal organisms and marine birds that inhabit the area, and Puerto Egas is an excellent site for aquatic activities and observing the small pools that form along the shore, brimming with life. On Wednesday, Santa Cruz II journeys to Rábida Island, which in contrast to Las Bachas, is covered with red sand. Guests enjoy walking along the cliffs and swimming in the crystalline waters. Later in the day, after aweing at the volcanic viewpoint of Bartolome, Galapagos explorers may combine a hike, swim, beach and coastal exploration – a first-rate day in the Galapagos! We then travel northeast to visit the sunken crater of Genovesa – unlike anything else, with thousands of marine birds walking and flying in every direction. The trip ends at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, the Galapagos capital. Regularly, 11 of the BIG15 may be seen on the 4 nights Northern Islands Galapagos itinerary.

No matter where we are or what we are doing, each and every one of us at Metropolitan Touring will do our best to provide you with a truly beautiful and memorable Galapagos experience.
